World Pride Parade 2014

World Pride Parade June 29, 2014

World Pride Parade was huge this year in Toronto, Canada.

Most of the countries attended for Pride Parade such as South Korea, Russia, Brazil, and Nederland.

Pride Parade is started from Bloor-Yonge St to Downtown Church St.

It was almost over 2 hours and people didn't leave there until finished.

Even if the weather was so hot, they were never exhausted.

Visiting downtown Church St is more fun after Pride Parade.

Because people can have food, drink, and take picture with people who is attended in the parade.

It will be unique and remembrance day.

Also, they are throwing rainbow necklaces, their company's stickers, and candy,etc.. 

The Pride parade is not held anywhere.

Therefore, if you visit Toronto in the summer time, you must go, watch and be fun.!

The Taste of Lawrence Festival

July 4,6 and 6th, 2014

There was a lot of food.

BBQ, cons, drinks, snacks and some of the traditional food from other countries.

 

Some activities are free for children.

Selling their product.

Some of the rides were there.

For kids, as well.

If you visit there at night, you can see Fire show.

They were young now, but they are really good in performing.

There are Coconut juice and Grape with Strawberries.

It was for 3 days on weekend. 

People can enjoy with performance, food, and activities.

If you visit there, you can enjoy more than I said.

Enjoy your summer time in Toronto.

Krinos Taste of the Danforth 2014

Krinos Taste of the Danforth was held on August 8-10, 2014.

Simply, it is Greek Festival  because Danforth is Greece town.

It is close to subway which is Broadview Station.

Greece and Canada's Flags.

Greek Festival is biggest festival in Toronto.

It was really crowed and many people sold delicious food there.

This is Gyros(Pita).

Gyros is most popular food in Greece.

I ordered Beef Gyros.

It is made with beef, tomato, vegetable and their special sources on Pita. 

When you get there, you have to eat Gyros.!

Greek Yogurt Ice-cream

I visited Dolce Gelato ice-cream store.

They also have crepe with gelato ice-cream as well.

I recommend to have crepe gelato and you can add topping.

This is souvlaki.

There were chicken and beef.

I ordered chicken souvalki.

It was so delicious and the price was $3.

There was some activities.

A few activities, you need to pay for it.

People were walking around.

I visited one of the bar on the Greek town.

It is called "Fox and Fiddle"

I ordered Kalamari and Strawberry soda.
Kalamari is fried squid which is a favourite dish in Greece.

There are the festival's brochure.

They explain transportation, foods, activities, and performances. 

Even if you are in Toronto, you can enjoy Greek culture there.

It is only for 3 days.

And when you visit there, keep your bag with you because there is a lots of people.
